Promoting best practice
The new NCC Approved Holiday Park – Holiday Home Ownership scheme covers the purchase and sale of new and pre owned Holiday Homes, the agreement to occupy a pitch on a holiday park and the provision of warranty and maintenance services. This new scheme is currently being introduced to members. Once initial assessments are complete and Approvals granted, the scheme is set to be launched to the public in 2013.
The scheme embraces the Holiday Park – Holiday Home Ownership Consumer Code of Practice and establishes a benchmark for industry best practice and minimum standards that must be followed by NCC Approved Park members.
The Code itself identifies the standards of operation and customer service which are then monitored and policed through the independently governed scheme.
